Behringer NX6000 PA Power Amplifier
The Behringer NX6000 is a two-channel Class D power amplifier for driving passive PA speakers from a line-level source. The manufacturer specifies maximum output of 2 × 3,000W at 4Ω or 2 × 1,600W at 8Ω. These are maximum output figures, not continuous or RMS ratings, and the headline power is not available independently from each channel. The NX6000 family does not offer bridged operation or a published 2Ω stereo rating. An analogue crossover switch selects low-frequency, high-frequency or full-range operation. This non-D model does not have the digital processing, LCD or USB DSP-control connection of the NX6000D. Two combination XLR and quarter-inch inputs accept line-level signals, while locking speaker outputs connect to suitable passive cabinets. Individual channel gain controls and fan cooling support installation in a two-unit rack. The amplifier weighs 5.9kg and requires mains power. Speakers, a source mixer, rack and speaker cables are separate components, not part of this amplifier listing.
