Returns & refunds

Two Tone’s UK consumer cancellation, faulty-goods and refund information, with printable return and cancellation forms.

Changing your mind

For most online goods, you may cancel without giving a reason within 14 days after receiving them, then have a further 14 days to send them back. You may tell us before delivery too. A clear cancellation statement is sufficient; using our form is optional. For goods delivered separately, the statutory period may run from receipt of the final item.

Return address and contact

Return equipment to Two Tone, 33 Holt Rd, Cromer NR27 9EB, UK. Send your cancellation or return enquiry to info@twotone.uk, with your order reference and the goods concerned. Our registered office is separate from this returns address. Asking for instructions does not remove your statutory right to cancel.

Return costs and condition

Any change-of-mind return cost will be disclosed before purchase; the policy is not yet confirmed. Customers are responsible for those costs only where lawfully informed in advance. You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. Handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning may result in a lawful deduction for diminished value; original packaging is not a blanket condition of statutory cancellation.

Cancellation refunds

An eligible refund includes the price paid and the cost of standard outbound delivery, not the additional cost of a more expensive option you chose. Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund fee. For returned goods, refunds are normally due within 14 days of receiving the goods or evidence that you sent them back, whichever is earlier; different statutory timing applies where we offer to collect.

Faulty, damaged or misdescribed equipment

Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. For most faulty goods, UK consumers have a 30-day short-term right to reject. After that, repair or replacement is generally the first remedy, with price reduction or final rejection available where the law allows. We bear reasonable return costs for valid faulty-goods claims. Manufacturer warranties do not replace these rights.

Statutory exceptions

Exceptions can apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised, and certain sealed hygiene goods or sealed audio/video recordings and software once unsealed. An exception is not automatic for all headphones or audio equipment; any applicable restriction must be explained before purchase. Digital-content rules depend on your express consent and acknowledgement where required.

Business purchases

The statutory change-of-mind rules described here apply to consumers. Any separate business return terms will be disclosed before business orders are accepted. Rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
