Bowers & Wilkins Pi8 Wireless Earbuds — Anthracite Black

The Bowers & Wilkins Pi8 in Anthracite Black is a pair of true wireless earbuds with a 12mm Carbon Cone driver in each earpiece. Active noise cancellation reduces background sound, while Ambient Pass-Through lets outside audio reach the listener when required. Bluetooth 5.4 supports aptX Lossless, aptX Adaptive, aptX Classic, AAC and SBC; the available codec and audio quality depend on the connected source. The earbuds provide up to 6.5 hours of listening with noise cancellation enabled, and the charging case adds up to 13.5 hours for a combined maximum of 20 hours under the manufacturer test conditions. The smart case also retransmits audio from USB and analogue sources. Analogue connection uses the supplied 3.5mm-to-USB-C cable at the case USB-C socket; there is no separate 3.5mm socket on the case. Retransmission uses aptX Adaptive, not a promise of lossless audio from every source. IP54 protection applies to the earbuds only, not the charging case. Four ear-tip sizes, a charging cable and the audio cable are supplied.
