The original Hollyland LARK MAX Duo is a black wireless microphone system for recording two contributors, supplied with two transmitters, one receiver and a charging case. It uses 2.4 GHz digital wireless transmission and supports a two-transmitter recording setup. Each transmitter includes eight gigabytes of internal storage for local backup recording in 48 kHz, 24-bit WAV format, with the manufacturer advertising up to fourteen hours of stored recordings. Environmental noise cancellation can be selected for appropriate recording conditions, while the receiver touchscreen provides access to system settings. Hollyland specifies a maximum transmission distance of 250 metres under line-of-sight conditions; this is not a guaranteed working distance through walls or in every radio environment.
