JBL Bar 1000 MK2 — Black

The JBL Bar 1000 MK2 is a 7.1.4-channel home-cinema system with a main soundbar, two detachable wireless surround speakers and a separate 10-inch wireless subwoofer. Four up-firing drivers across the bar and surround speakers provide height effects for compatible Dolby Atmos and DTS:X material. The surround speakers have rechargeable batteries, allowing them to operate away from a mains socket while playing; docking them back on the bar recharges them. JBL specifies up to ten hours of surround-speaker playback, with actual runtime depending on content and volume. The main bar and subwoofer require mains power. Three HDMI inputs accommodate source devices, and an HDMI eARC output links to a compatible television. Optical, Bluetooth 5.3 and dual-band Wi-Fi provide further connections, while the JBL One app supports setup, calibration and sound adjustment. The UK version's USB port is for service, not music playback. JBL's 960 W figure is maximum output at 1% THD, distinct from the sheet's 480 W RMS figure at the same distortion threshold. An HDMI cable, remote with batteries and mounting accessories are included; power-cord quantity varies by regional package.
