JBL Bar 500 MK2 — Black
The JBL Bar 500 MK2 combines a slim soundbar with a wireless 10-inch subwoofer in a 5.1-channel home cinema system. MultiBeam 3.0 uses reflected sound to broaden the listening area, while Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X processing create a spatial presentation without supplied rear speakers. These effects should not be confused with discrete overhead speakers. An HDMI input accepts a compatible video source, and the HDMI eARC output connects the system to a television. Optical input, Bluetooth 5.3 and dual-band Wi-Fi provide further connection options. The JBL One app supports setup and sound adjustment, including calibration for the room. PureVoice 2.0 adjusts dialogue reproduction. Both the bar and subwoofer require mains power; wireless refers to their audio connection. The UK USB socket is for servicing, not music playback.
