Pioneer DJ DJS-1000 Standalone DJ Sampler

The Pioneer DJ DJS-1000 is a standalone 16-track sampler designed to add sequencing and live sound manipulation to a DJ setup. Its 16 multicoloured step-input keys make it possible to build patterns directly, while the performance pads let you trigger and layer samples by hand. Velocity Mode varies sample volume with playing pressure. A 7-inch full-colour touchscreen presents sequence information and instrument icons, helping keep the arrangement visible during performance. Live Sampling allows incoming audio to be captured and used as material within the set. The touch strip provides another expressive control surface, including pitch-bend interaction. Tempo and synchronisation features help integrate patterns with compatible DJ equipment. This is a creative sampling and sequencing instrument, rather than a replacement for a conventional multi-deck DJ mixer.
