WiiM Amp Streaming Amplifier – Space Grey
The WiiM Amp in Space Grey combines network streaming and stereo amplification in a compact aluminium enclosure. It is designed for passive loudspeakers, delivering 60 watts per channel into 8 ohms or 120 watts per channel into 4 ohms. The original Amp supports AirPlay 2 reception as well as Google Cast, Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect, making it distinct from the Amp Pro and Amp Ultra. HDMI ARC provides a return-audio connection from a compatible television; an eARC-labelled television socket can be used, but the amplifier itself is an ARC device. Optical and analogue line inputs accommodate other sources, while USB storage playback offers another way to access a music library. WiiM Home provides room correction and equalisation, and a subwoofer output allows a powered subwoofer to be added. Speakers and suitable speaker cable are required for a conventional stereo installation.
