beyerdynamic DT 1770 PRO MKII Studio Headphones

The beyerdynamic DT 1770 PRO MKII is a wired, closed-back over-ear studio headphone designed for recording, monitoring and editing. Its TESLA.45 dynamic driver is specified at 30 ohms: TESLA.45 is the technology name, not a 45-ohm impedance rating. The MKII must also be distinguished from the older 250-ohm generation. The closed construction provides passive isolation from the room; it is not electronic active noise cancellation. A detachable single-sided mini-XLR cable connection supports replacement and transport, and the manufacturer lists 3 m straight and 5 m coiled cables. The padded headband incorporates a fontanelle recess intended to reduce pressure at the top of the head.
