Focal Hadenys Brown Open-Back Headphones

The Focal Hadenys is a brown, passive wired headphone built for listening in a quieter home environment. Its open-back construction allows sound to pass through the earcups, so it is not intended to isolate the listener in the same way as a closed headphone. Each side uses a 40 mm aluminium and magnesium driver with Focal’s M-shaped dome. The manufacturer specifies a 26-ohm impedance and an analogue connection, rather than wireless playback or USB audio. Open-back headphones can also leak sound to people nearby, which is worth considering for shared rooms. There is no battery, Bluetooth receiver or active noise cancellation to charge or configure. Pair the headphones with a suitable headphone output, DAC or amplifier. This listing is for the Hadenys headphones in brown, with exact-model packshots retained and standalone accessory and dark scene images removed.
