Kanto YU4 Powered Bookshelf Speakers — Matte Black Pair

The original Kanto YU4 is a powered bookshelf speaker system supplied as a matte-black stereo pair, with amplification housed in one speaker and a wired connection to the other. Each cabinet contains a four-inch Kevlar driver and a one-inch silk-dome tweeter. Kanto rates the Class D system at 70 watts total RMS and 140 watts peak; the peak figure is not continuous output power. Connections include a 3.5mm auxiliary input, RCA inputs with a selectable phono preamp, two optical TOSLINK inputs and Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX for compatible sources. A subwoofer output supports an optional separate subwoofer, and the USB port provides five-volt, one-amp charging rather than a USB audio input. The remote controls source and playback functions supported by the system. The manufacturer includes a power cord, connecting speaker wire, auxiliary cable, remote with batteries and rubber feet. This listing is the original YU4, not YU4 2nd Gen: newer-generation USB-C connectivity and higher power ratings do not apply.
