Mackie Thump212 12-inch 1400W Powered PA Speaker

The Mackie Thump212 is a 12-inch powered loudspeaker from the redesigned 2022 Thump range, aimed at mobile PA, DJs, bands, bars, schools and conference rooms. A 1400-watt peak Class-D amplifier drives a 12-inch woofer and a one-inch compression driver through an electronic crossover at 2.1 kilohertz. Mackie specifies a frequency response of 47 hertz to 23 kilohertz and a maximum sound pressure level of 128 decibels. The rear panel carries a two-channel mixer: channel one has an XLR and TRS combo input that accepts microphone or line signals, while channel two offers an XLR and TRS line input plus a stereo 3.5mm input for a phone or media player. A thru output passes a mix of both channels to another speaker. A built-in Feedback Eliminator helps reduce squeals and low-frequency rumble, and Music Ducking automatically lowers channel two whenever a signal arrives on channel one, which suits announcements over background music. The moulded cabinet includes a standard pole mount and an angled back for use as a floor wedge. The universal power supply accepts 100 to 240 volts. Mackie quotes a weight of 12.5kg. This is the standard Thump212 without the Bluetooth and app control of the Thump212XT.
