Numark NS4FX Four-Channel DJ Controller

The Numark NS4FX is a four-channel DJ controller designed to operate with a computer and compatible DJ software. It provides four software-channel controls alongside two deck-control sections and layered deck selection, allowing access to up to four software decks where the chosen software supports them. It is not a standalone music player or an independent four-channel mixer for external sources. Balanced XLR main outputs connect to suitable sound systems, while an RCA booth output provides a separate monitoring connection. Two quarter-inch microphone inputs support microphone use; the first microphone input shares its channel with the selectable RCA auxiliary source, so Mic 1 and Aux are not independent simultaneous inputs. Headphone outputs provide cue monitoring. Serato DJ Lite is the included software offering, while Serato DJ Pro is an optional paid upgrade rather than an included full licence. The controller combines jog-wheel deck control, channel mixing, performance pads and effect controls in a single unit for software-based DJ performance. A computer and suitable software configuration are required for playback from the software decks.
