QTX QR12PA Portable 12-inch PA with Two VHF Microphones

The QTX QR12PA is a self-contained portable PA unit for fitness classes, presentations, school events and outdoor karaoke. It runs from mains power, an external 12-volt DC supply or its internal rechargeable battery, which QTX rates for up to eight hours. Sound comes from a 12-inch main driver and a one-inch titanium compression driver, with the manufacturer quoting fifty watts to each for a combined one hundred watts. Two VHF handheld wireless microphones are included, operating at 174.1 and 175.0 megahertz, and the receiver is built into the rear control panel. Two further wired microphone inputs on 6.3mm jacks are provided, the first also suitable for guitar, alongside 3.5mm and RCA line inputs. Microphones share a two-band EQ and an echo effect, and a voice-controlled volume switch automatically lowers the music when someone speaks. An integrated media player reads USB and SD storage and includes an FM tuner, operated from the panel or the supplied infrared remote control. A telescopic trolley handle with rear wheels, a moulded carry handle and a 35mm pole socket make it easy to move and position. It measures 570 by 350 by 310mm and weighs 14kg. The package contains the unit, two microphones, a mains lead, the remote control and a user manual.
