Yamaha MG20XU 20-Channel USB Mixer with Effects

The Yamaha MG20XU is a 20-channel analogue mixing console with up to 16 D-PRE microphone inputs and a stereo USB audio interface. Its input layout has twelve mono MIC/LINE strips and four stereo-capable MIC/LINE strips, so the 20-channel headline is not a count of 20 microphone preamps. One-knob compression on selected mono channels helps manage signal dynamics, and the integrated SPX processor offers 24 effects programs. Four group buses and four auxiliary buses, including the effects send, support routing and monitoring alongside the main stereo bus. The USB connection carries two inputs and two outputs at up to 24-bit/192kHz for stereo recording and playback, rather than recording every console channel separately. Balanced XLR main outputs connect the console to a PA system, with group, monitor and headphone connections available for other signal paths. Yamaha specifies +48V phantom power, an internal universal power supply and a metal chassis. The console measures 444 × 130 × 500mm in width-by-height-by-depth order and weighs 7.1kg.
