ADAM Audio A7V Black — single monitor

The ADAM Audio A7V is a powered two-way studio monitor supplied here as one black loudspeaker. It combines a seven-inch Multi-Layer Mineral-fibre woofer with ADAM’s X-ART tweeter. The front-facing ports, rotatable HPS waveguide and onboard DSP form part of the monitor’s acoustic design, with tuning options intended to help adapt its response to the listening environment.

Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA sockets provide analogue audio inputs. The separate Ethernet-style socket is labelled Remote Control on the product itself; it must not be presented as a network-audio input. Rear-panel controls provide room adaptation, voicing and level adjustment without requiring a separate speaker power amplifier.

The manufacturer lists a frequency range of 41 Hz to 42 kHz on its product overview. That range is not presented here as a tolerance-qualified flat response, and no unsupported continuous amplifier rating is assigned. This is the A7V generation rather than the older A7X. The price covers one monitor, so a conventional stereo monitoring setup requires two units.
