The Wharfedale EVO 5.2 is a black passive bookshelf speaker supplied here as a stereo pair. Its three-way design separates bass, midrange and treble duties, using a 165 mm woven Kevlar bass driver, a 50 mm soft-dome midrange unit and an Air Motion Transformer tweeter. This is the EVO 5 generation, not an EVO 4.2, and its dedicated midrange distinguishes it from the smaller two-way EVO 5.1. A compatible external amplifier and speaker cables are required; there is no built-in music streamer or powered amplification. The listing is priced for two cabinets.
