Marshall

Marshall Acton III Bluetooth Home Speaker — Black

Bluetooth 5.2 wireless playback

The Marshall Acton III is a mains-powered Bluetooth home speaker with a bass-reflex cabinet and a black finish. Its woofer is driven by one 30 W Class D amplifier, with two separate 15 W Class D amplifiers serving the tweeters. Marshall does not label these amplifier figures as RMS ratings. Bluetooth 5.2 provides wireless playback, while a 3.5 mm input offers a wired connection to compatible sources. Top-mounted controls adjust volume, bass and treble, with playback controls and a power switch also provided. The speaker measures 260 mm wide, 170 mm high and 150 mm deep, and weighs 2.85 kg. It requires a 100–240 V mains supply at 50–60 Hz rather than a rechargeable battery. There is no Wi-Fi, microphone system or voice-command function, and Marshall does not rate it as water-resistant. This listing is for one black Acton III speaker; a phone or other music source is not included.

Behringer

Behringer NX3000D PA Power Amplifier with DSP

Two-channel Class D amplifier for passive PA speakers

The Behringer NX3000D is a two-channel Class D power amplifier for driving passive PA speakers from a line-level source. The manufacturer specifies maximum output of 2 × 1,500W at 2Ω, 2 × 900W at 4Ω or 2 × 440W at 8Ω. These are maximum output figures, not continuous or RMS ratings, and the headline power is not available independently from each channel. It also supports bridged operation, rated at a maximum of 3,000W into 4Ω or 1,500W into 8Ω. Built-in DSP supplies crossover filters, parametric and dynamic equalisation, delay and peak limiting. A rear USB Type B connection is for DSP control from a computer, not USB music playback. Two combination XLR and quarter-inch inputs accept line-level signals, while locking speaker outputs connect to suitable passive cabinets. Individual channel gain controls and fan cooling support installation in a two-unit rack. The amplifier weighs 3.6kg and requires mains power. Speakers, a source mixer, rack and speaker cables are separate components, not part of this amplifier listing.
