The Q Acoustics 5050 is a stereo pair of passive floorstanding speakers in Satin Black. It belongs to the 5000 series and uses the manufacturer’s C3 Continuous Curved Cone design for its mid/bass drivers. The cabinet incorporates P2P bracing and Helmholtz Pressure Equaliser technology as part of its resonance-control approach. These are conventional speakers requiring an external amplifier and speaker cables, not self-powered wireless units. The manufacturer specifies a six-ohm nominal impedance, a three-ohm minimum and a recommended amplifier range of 25 to 150 watts. Black Ash pair of passive two-way floorstanding speakers
This pair of DALI SONIK 5 speakers brings a compact floorstanding design to a stereo or home cinema system. Each passive two-way cabinet combines two 5¼-inch low/mid drivers with a 29mm low-loss soft-dome tweeter. DALI uses its Clarity Cone technology and SMC magnet system in the drivers to support detailed reproduction with reduced distortion. The quoted frequency range is 39Hz to 26kHz within ±3dB, with 88dB sensitivity measured at 2.83V and one metre. A nominal impedance of 6 ohms and recommended amplifier power of 30–150W guide amplifier matching; these are not powered speakers and there is no built-in amplifier. The crossover operates at 2.2kHz and DALI specifies a maximum sound pressure level of 108dB at one metre. The Black Ash finish is supplied here as a pair. Connect both speakers to a suitable external amplifier using speaker cable, and allow room for positioning rather than treating the cabinets as self-contained wireless music systems.

The Monitor Audio Bronze 300 7G is a pair of black passive floorstanding speakers from the seventh-generation Bronze range. Its two-and-a-half-way design combines a six-inch C-CAM bass-mid driver, a separate six-inch C-CAM bass driver and a one-inch C-CAM gold-dome tweeter with a UD waveguide. Rear HiVe II ports form part of the bass-reflex enclosure, so placement should follow the manufacturer’s guidance rather than treating the cabinets as sealed speakers. An external amplifier and suitable speaker cables are required. Monitor Audio lists amplifier recommendations separately for different loads: 40 to 150 watts into eight ohms, or 75 to 300 watts into four ohms. These are amplifier recommendations, not two interchangeable continuous speaker ratings. This listing is the 7G model rather than an older Bronze 300. Clean front, grille-on and rear views are retained; the furnished-room photograph is excluded.
