Eversolo
Eversolo DMP-A8 (Black)
Original DMP-A8, not Gen 2
The original Eversolo DMP-A8 combines network playback, digital-to-analogue conversion and an analogue preamplifier in a single black component. It is not the later Gen 2 model, so its six-inch touchscreen and original hardware should remain central to the specification. An AKM AK4191EQ and AK4499EX conversion arrangement works with an XMOS audio processor, while an R2R analogue volume network controls the preamplifier output. Both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analogue inputs allow conventional source components to join network and digital sources. Matching analogue outputs can feed a suitable power amplifier or active loudspeakers; the DMP-A8 does not directly power passive speakers. USB-B provides a computer audio input, with optical and coaxial connections offering further digital options. The HDMI ARC input accepts compatible television audio, whereas the separate HDMI-shaped IIS output is intended for a compatible DAC. It is not an ordinary television video output or the same multichannel HDMI connection used on the DMP-A6.

Cambridge Audio
Cambridge Audio EXN100 Lunar Grey Network Music Streamer
Network streamer and DAC
The Cambridge Audio EXN100 is a Lunar Grey network music streamer and DAC built around the StreamMagic platform. It connects to supported music services and local network sources, with service access depending on network connectivity, firmware and account terms. HDMI eARC provides audio from a compatible television, while other digital connections allow suitable source equipment to be integrated. The unit is not a power amplifier and requires a suitable amplifier or active speaker system for listening. It also has no analogue input or built-in phono stage, so a turntable cannot simply be connected as an analogue source. This listing supplies one streamer, not a speaker or amplifier package. Award graphics, phone scenes and room photographs have been excluded to show only the exact product in its prepared gallery.

Cambridge Audio
Cambridge Audio CXN100 SE Network Music Streamer, Black
HDMI eARC input for TV sound
The Cambridge Audio CXN100 SE is a network music streamer for an existing hi-fi system, finished here in black. It builds on the CXN100 by adding an HDMI eARC connection, so the sound from a television, including its built-in apps and anything connected to it, can be played through your amplifier and speakers. Conversion is handled by an ESS ES9028Q2M SABRE32 digital-to-analogue converter. Cambridge's StreamMagic platform provides Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Amazon Music, Qobuz, Deezer and internet radio, and the player also supports Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast built-in, Google Home and Bluetooth aptX HD. Roon Ready certification allows it to be used as an endpoint within a Roon library. A high-resolution colour screen on the front panel shows artwork and track information, and the unit can be controlled from Cambridge's StreamMagic app. A pre-amp mode lets the CXN100 SE control volume directly, so it can feed a power amplifier or active speakers, and multiroom capability allows it to be grouped with compatible Cambridge products. Additional digital inputs and both RCA and balanced XLR analogue outputs are provided on the rear panel. An amplifier or active speakers are required, as the streamer has no built-in power amplification.

Technics
Technics SL-1500C (Black)
Coreless direct-drive motor
The Technics SL-1500C is a direct-drive turntable that combines manual record handling with a useful automatic tonearm lift. This black model uses a coreless motor and offers electronic selection of 33⅓, 45 and 78rpm. The supplied Ortofon 2M Red moving-magnet cartridge and built-in phono equaliser make it possible to connect to an appropriate line-level amplifier input without buying a separate phono stage. Alternatively, the dedicated phono connection supports a suitable external phono stage. At the end of a record, the enabled auto lift-up function raises the tonearm to prevent repeated playing of the run-out groove. It does not stop the platter, return the arm to its rest or make the turntable fully automatic. The user remains responsible for positioning the arm and finishing the playback sequence. Although 78rpm rotation is available, the supplied standard microgroove stylus should not be presented as suitable for every historic shellac record; a compatible specialist stylus or cartridge may be required.

Marantz
Marantz CD 60 Black CD Player
CD player with USB-storage playback
The Marantz CD 60 is a black CD player with analogue stereo and digital output connections. It plays standard audio CDs and supported recorded discs, while the front USB-A port provides playback of compatible files from USB storage. That port is not a USB input for using the player as a computer DAC. The CD 60 is not an SACD player, despite appearing in a broader CD/SACD product category on some manufacturer pages. Stereo RCA outputs allow connection to an amplifier, with optical and coaxial digital outputs for compatible external equipment. A front headphone connection provides another listening option. USB DSD playback uses the analogue outputs; it is not passed through the digital outputs. This listing supplies one player, not a matching amplifier or complete hi-fi system. Clean front and rear photographs show the exact black version. File and disc compatibility should be checked against the manufacturer’s manual for the formats you intend to use.

Eversolo
Eversolo DMP-A6 Gen 2 (Black)
Standard Gen 2 model, not Master Edition
The Eversolo DMP-A6 Gen 2 is a network music streamer and DAC for a separate hi-fi system. This black model is the standard second-generation version, rather than the Master Edition. Its six-inch touchscreen provides local control, while app control offers another way to browse a music library and select playback. Two ESS ES9038Q2M DAC chips handle the left and right channels, with balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analogue outputs for connection to suitable amplification or active loudspeakers. Ethernet and dual-band Wi-Fi provide network access, and an internal SSD slot allows compatible storage to be added separately. The USB-C audio input supports high-resolution stereo sources, with optical and coaxial inputs available for other digital components. HDMI ARC brings compatible television audio into the system. A separate HDMI audio output serves a different purpose, including supported multichannel audio formats; it should not be confused with the ARC input. Passive loudspeakers still require an amplifier.

Cambridge Audio
Cambridge Audio CXN100 Lunar Grey Network Music Streamer
Network streaming and DAC
The Cambridge Audio CXN100 is a network music streamer and DAC in a Lunar Grey finish. Its colour display provides playback information while the network platform connects to supported music services and local music sources. Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analogue outputs allow connection to a suitable amplifier or active speaker system, and optical and coaxial digital outputs support an external DAC. USB audio input and compatible USB storage playback serve different purposes and should not be confused with one another. The CXN100 does not contain a power amplifier, a phono stage or an HDMI connection. Streaming availability depends on network access, firmware and service terms; subscriptions are not included. This listing supplies one streamer, not the additional amplifier, disc player or speakers shown in room photographs.

Eversolo
Eversolo Play (Black)
Standard model without CD drive
Eversolo Play is an all-in-one streaming amplifier designed to form a compact system with a pair of suitable passive loudspeakers. This black standard edition does not contain the disc mechanism fitted to the Play CD Edition. Network music playback, digital conversion and Class D amplification are brought together behind a colour touchscreen, with app control providing an alternative to front-panel operation. Its published power figures depend on loudspeaker impedance: 60 watts per channel into eight ohms and 110 watts per channel into four ohms. Those figures should not be presented as interchangeable ratings. An HDMI ARC input provides a route for audio from a compatible television, while the phono input accommodates moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges. Optical and coaxial digital connections broaden source choice. Music-service support should be checked against installed firmware and the relevant subscription requirements rather than treated as a permanent guarantee. Unlike a standalone streamer or CD transport, Play includes the amplification required to drive passive speakers.

Cambridge Audio
Cambridge Audio Alva ST Grey
Belt-drive turntable
The Cambridge Audio Alva ST is a belt-drive turntable with both wired analogue connections and Bluetooth audio transmission. It is a distinct model from the direct-drive Alva TT range, with a belt-driven platter instead. A moving-magnet cartridge is supplied on a removable headshell, providing a practical starting point for playback and allowing cartridge changes in the future. The built-in phono stage can be used to feed a suitable line-level input, or bypassed when connecting to an appropriate external phono stage. Bluetooth supports SBC, aptX and aptX HD, with the actual connection depending on the receiving equipment. The turntable plays records at 33⅓ and 45rpm and uses a die-cast aluminium platter with a rubber mat. Operation should be treated as manual rather than advertised as automatic end-of-side stopping or lifting. The grey finish contrasts with the dark platter and matches the manufacturer’s colour designation. The supplied dustcover and included cartridge make the package clear without importing a different regional cartridge bundle.

TEAC
TEAC AD-850-SE CD Player & Cassette Deck — Black
Combined CD player, cassette deck and USB flash-drive functions
The TEAC AD-850-SE combines a CD player, cassette recorder and USB flash-drive playback and recording in a single black component. Its cassette mechanism uses two heads and runs in one direction, so it is not an auto-reverse deck. Normal and chrome tapes are supported, while metal tapes are for playback only. Audio from a CD, cassette, external line source or microphone input can be recorded to a USB flash drive as an MP3 file at 128 kbps; this is not lossless CD archiving. Microphone audio cannot be mixed into CD-to-USB recordings. The unit can also record suitable sources to cassette and offers playback pitch adjustment of approximately plus or minus ten per cent. A front-panel quarter-inch mono microphone input has an echo function for karaoke or voice mixing, but a microphone is not built in or included and the input does not supply microphone power. Stereo RCA connections allow the deck to be connected to an external amplifier or recording source. The supplied remote operates playback functions. Separate speakers and amplification are required.

Audiolab
Audiolab 7000CDT (Black)
Dedicated digital CD transport
The Audiolab 7000CDT is a black CD transport with an additional facility for playing supported music files from USB storage. It sends digital audio to an external DAC or a suitably equipped amplifier rather than converting it to analogue within the player. Both coaxial and optical outputs are provided, making the connection requirements straightforward to assess before purchase. Its tray-loading mechanism uses a read-ahead buffer intended to reduce reading interruptions on imperfect discs, although no transport can guarantee recovery of every damaged recording. The mechanism sits in a shielded enclosure with a dedicated power supply, while the chassis and base address mechanical vibration. A 2.8-inch colour IPS display presents information such as folders, formats and track details. The rear USB-A connection is for compatible storage containing MP3, WMA, AAC or WAV files; it is not a USB audio input for a computer. Partner it with a DAC and amplification to complete the signal path to passive loudspeakers.

Cambridge Audio
Cambridge Audio CXC Lunar Grey CD Transport
Compact-disc transport
The Cambridge Audio CXC is a Lunar Grey compact-disc transport intended for use with an external DAC or a DAC-equipped amplifier. It reads supported audio CDs and sends the digital audio signal through optical or coaxial S/PDIF outputs. It does not contain the analogue output stage of a conventional CD player, so it cannot be connected directly to a line-level analogue input without additional conversion equipment. This distinction matters when building a complete listening system: amplification and speakers are also required. The exact donor barcode matches the supplied Google report, but no unverified V2 generation label has been added. This listing supplies one CXC transport rather than a transport-and-amplifier package. Room photographs and accessory presentations have been omitted from the prepared exact-model gallery.

Cambridge Audio
Cambridge Audio MXN10 Network Music Streamer – Lunar Grey
Compact half-width network streamer
The Cambridge Audio MXN10 in Lunar Grey adds network music playback to an existing hi-fi or desktop audio system. Its compact, half-width enclosure contains the StreamMagic Gen 4 platform and an ESS SABRE ES9033Q digital-to-analogue converter. AirPlay 2, Chromecast built-in and Bluetooth provide several routes for playing music from compatible devices, while USB and network storage playback accommodate a personal digital collection. Analogue RCA outputs connect to an amplifier or suitable active speakers; optical and coaxial outputs provide alternatives for systems with their own digital conversion. Control is through the StreamMagic app. This is one network streamer, not an integrated amplifier or speaker bundle, so a suitable downstream audio system is needed.

Audiolab
Audiolab 6000CDT (Black)
Dedicated digital CD transport
The Audiolab 6000CDT is a dedicated CD transport for a system that already includes digital-to-analogue conversion. This black component reads discs and delivers their audio through coaxial or optical digital outputs, leaving conversion and amplification to other equipment. There are no analogue audio outputs, and it should not be described as a complete CD player with an internal DAC. A slot-loading mechanism keeps the front panel uncluttered, while a read-ahead digital buffer is designed to reduce interruptions caused by disc-reading difficulties. This may help with some imperfect discs, but it does not guarantee that every scratched or damaged CD will play. The transport mechanism has its own shielded enclosure and dedicated power supply, and a temperature-compensated clock controls the digital output timing. Connect it to a compatible external DAC, DAC-equipped integrated amplifier or receiver using the appropriate digital cable. It does not offer the USB storage playback provided by the later 7000CDT, so those facilities must not be carried across from another model.

Marantz
Marantz CD6007 Black CD Player
CD player with built-in DAC
The Marantz CD6007 is a black CD player with an integrated DAC and analogue audio output for connection to a suitable amplifier. It plays supported CD, CD-R and CD-RW discs, while the front USB-A connection reads compatible audio files from USB storage. That USB port is not a computer USB-DAC input and should not be described as a way to stream arbitrary computer audio directly into the player. Digital outputs provide another connection option for an external DAC or compatible amplifier. Unlike a transport-only disc component, the CD6007 includes its own digital-to-analogue conversion. This listing supplies one CD player, not speakers or amplification, and it is not a network streamer or an SACD player. Award badges and promotional graphics have been removed from the prepared product gallery.

Cambridge Audio
Cambridge Audio AXC35 Lunar Grey CD Player
CD player with onboard DAC
The Cambridge Audio AXC35 is a Lunar Grey CD player for connection to a separate amplifier or suitable digital audio equipment. It includes an onboard Wolfson WM8524 digital-to-analogue converter and fixed-level analogue line outputs. A coaxial S/PDIF output also allows use with a compatible external DAC, a connection that distinguishes the AXC35 from the AXC25. This is a player with analogue output, not a disc transport that always requires an external converter. The analogue line outputs connect to an amplifier rather than driving loudspeakers directly. The listing is for one player only, with no amplifier, loudspeakers or stacked components included. Clean front, rear and angled product views show the exact finish. Use the connected amplifier to control listening volume and consult the manufacturer’s manual for supported disc formats.

Audio-Technica
Audio-Technica AT-LP5X Matte Black
Fully manual direct drive
The Audio-Technica AT-LP5X is a fully manual direct-drive turntable finished in matte black. Its three-speed motor supports 33⅓, 45 and 78rpm, while the J-shaped tonearm draws on the manufacturer’s earlier turntable designs. An AT-VM95E moving-magnet cartridge arrives fitted to an AT-HS6 headshell, giving a clearly defined supplied cartridge rather than an unspecified dealer bundle. The VM95 stylus family also provides a route to later stylus changes. A switchable phono preamplifier accommodates moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges, although the cartridge supplied with the turntable is moving magnet. This allows connection to suitable line-level equipment or use with an appropriate external phono stage. USB connectivity provides a way to capture records with a computer; it does not make the turntable a network streamer or Bluetooth transmitter. Playback is fully manual, so the user must cue and lift the arm rather than expect automatic stopping. For appropriate 78rpm records, Audio-Technica specifies the separately sold AT-VM95SP stylus instead of the supplied standard elliptical stylus.
